now i think i can get the sign fron ron,but at least need the holder or something close.but figured it might not hurt to see if anyone had one laying around.heres a pic of the actual dispenser

Mick what is the width? I know grocery stores used to have sign holders like that.

cant get the card,but ron s said they are about the size of a postcard.the nut at the top is 7/8".thats what dick said also brad,old grocery store type pricer.now i just gotta figure out where i can find one of those.actually,got a little shop time today so gonna see if i can come up with something.

...the sign in the top photo (not the frame, but the printed thing with the picture of the Zippo and 1¢) is not original...it may have been loosely based on the original, but that type was set with a computer...just FYI...


Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...

Ok here are some pictures. Bottom part that would sit on a counter is surface rust but Im sure will clean up a lot but I know you do not need this part. Top part is real nice. I did not clean it up at all but will shine up nicely. Size is believe it or not slightly bigger than 5 1/2 X 7(width) so it would hold a card nicely that size and by the time you cut away the top part to look like the pictured one above it would be 5 X 7. I will add the top bar has a slot in it to slide the card advertising down into the framework.





If you want it and do not want the bottom part I'll cut it of and put it into a padded envelope and send it off to you. PM me your address. John
