I don't know the history of Sunco, but it looks like the signs that we have that point the way to a oilfield location or a drilling rig.

IT DEF LOOKS LIKE A SIGN YOU'D SEE MARKING THE WAY TO AN OLDFIELD OR DRILLING RIG ON A CYCLONE PERIMETER FENCE.

I have had the very same sign for over 20 years, so if its a repro, must have been done in the mid 80s. I also think it was used in the oilfield,
