Well I have been trying to find an old Texaco uniform for a mannequin to stand next to some pumps in the garage. Well I have found an original hat which I assumes would be the hard part. Is there any clothing out there that resembles closely the old uniforms of the 40-50's era. Someone had mentioned Dickies?? I know the hat is that Texaco green uniform color. I can get the shoes and bowtie anywhere...any thoughts for the shirt and pants?
Mainly focused on Oilzum, Jenney, Harris Oil items & original paint gas pumps.

I seen some of the old green shirts on ebay with the Texaco patches or you by the old style patches on ebay and buy a green work shirt from one of the work uniform company's in your town.

There were a number of companies that supplied Texaco with uniforms and a few are still well known. Uploaded with ImageShack.us

I was always told that the brass buttons on Texaco hats had the star with a T in it. Am I correct?

I did the same thing years ago using brand new Dickies and it looked great. The color is an exact match and it doesn't look like they changed the style in decades.

Awesome video.....I loved it! I guess the new Dickies cloths are the way to go. Any thoughts on what stores might carry those cloths?
