Have you read the direction for Direct Upload? Click:
http://www.oldgas.com/forum/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=129148#Post129148

There is an alternate way to display pictures through ImageShack. An ImageShack tutorial can be seen on the Testing Area forum. Click:
http://www.oldgas.com/forum/ubbthreads.php?ubb=postlist&Board=11&page=1

Then try out posting an image on the testing forum. If it doesn't work out there, I'll be able to look at it and possibly diagnose the problem.

Give it a shot after reading over those directions.

One thing about the Direct Upload system is that if your image is larger than 100k, it shows up as a link rather than displays on the page as a picture.

Have you gone to the "Testing area" and followed the tutorial Jim has posted there? If not I suggest you do that and post test photos. When I first started posting I used the testing forum a lot and I do mean a lot.

I use Imageshack for the most part to post my photos as it is easier for me to use. I know a lot of the members here use the photo tutorial and system that Jim has at the top of the testing area.

The best and easiest way to post good photos here is to practice and practice, IMO. See which system works best for you.
