Maureen and I will be there for Dixie Gas. We have rented a cool log cabin up in the woods. We are very ready for this trip. Somebody might have to come up there and drag us out to make us go home.

I will be a Dixie Gas, I will have a car in the Shades show, but will come byon Thursday, and try to hit again if time permits on Saturday.

Gary, I have been counting the days also, this is Chips better show for me..I hope alot of people turn out for the show..I hope to bring alot of unrestored parts and pumps..we will set up wed afternoon after a 7 hr drive...see ya then

I have had the motel booked for two months. I can not wait to see the stuff at this show. Went to the spring and had a good time but had to cut it short. I am bringing my dad who has turned into a petro nut also. See everyone there. Phil

Maybe we can all meet for a group photo like in front of Chip's old store at a certain time on Thursday or Friday. Personally, I will be leaving late Friday afternoon. But we have a few weeks to decide on a time and location. It would be great to meet everyone at once.

Gary, a great idea that I am sure a space age company would like to test out there new super duty camera to take a picture of all the good looking guys there. LOL!! Anyway, that would be good and I am sure I will see you there. Phil "Lamont" McCauley

That sounds like a great idea to meet at a certain time and place. This is my first time there, so I'm open to suggestions. Maybe we could meet, and then later, those who want could go a restaurant and eat dinner together.

Hey guys, there's a Mexican Joint in Newport. YUM YUM, great food for the east side. its on the opposite of the freeway from the Holiday Inn and on the left side of the road. tell them Elden sent you.

I'll stick to staying on the Newport side of the tracks. If you bring a spouse and want to do the tourist thing, Pigeon Forge and Sevierville are the places. As is the bumper to bumper traffic...like 1 hour to go 1 mile. It's probably not like that all the time, but that DID happen to me (several times) and I swore I would never go there again. But as for the photo session. Is everyone going to be there Friday? let's pick a day, then a time.
