I bought this today but do not know what it fits. Any ideas. It is about 5 1/4 inches tall and has a diameter of about 6 inches at the widest point.

Looks very similar to the one on my Pennometer 41, as well as the one on the 41 in Jack's book (if you look w/ a magnifier). Pennometer might not have made their own - could be same as SSE.

I've seen this type visi on most all Erie clockfaces. Some of the visis are a little longer than one shown
original to my Erie #21 clockface

Looks like mine that is on my Erie U603 clock face. Mine has a hole in the top center tapped for a 3/8 in. bolt. Maybe for a pricer or a cover?? Rod

An Erie paddle wheel has FIVE blades. A Bennett paddle wheel has FOUR blades. The bracket that holds the wheel is also different... Ron

Looks like Keith's has 8 Rods & Savinsam's has 6 Rods.
rvanpelt, Hole in top might also be for "Glass Must Be Full Before And After Delivery" 2 sided cast sign.

Could be, DB. I'd like to find a price shown in Jack's book page 137 on the U603 site glass. Anybody have one? Thanks, Rod

As Dick mentioned my visi has 8 rods with bolts on every other rod for a total of 4 bolted rods and Savinsam's only has 6 rods with a bolt on every rod. ????

Erie used two styles of visi- The first one referred to as "Site Glass - Small" used bolts only. The second referred to as "Site Glass - Large" used bolts and rods. The "Small" visi was either cadmium plated or chrome plated (for $3.75 more). The "Large" visi came cadmium plated only. Ron P.S. Large vs small was the glass size. The castings are not the same. The "Price Sign" was an extra $2.45 with a cad finish or $2.95 with a chrome finish.
