Am restoring a Fry visible for a local guy and he wants it done in a Montana gas co. logo...Some time back I think someone was repopping some Montana gas lenses...Anyone have some color pic of the Montana companies??..Any help really appreciated.. Thanks Warren

No kidding on the bucket. I am probably biased what with living in Montana, but for a small market the Montana Oil and gas companies put out some nice looking globes. If I had more disposable income I would like to put together a set of all Montana's lenses. The Grizzly, Montana Chief, the Arro and the Hart (at least I think there was a Hart) globes would make a major dent in anyone's retirement fund. Now that's a bucket list.

This is one of my early lenses. These were manufactured by Mike Slama long before I had my own production capabilities.
They have been 'Sold Out' for years.
I did two different versions of this image: Montana Chief and Washington Chief. I still need to do the other two versions - Idaho Chief and Oregon Chief.
