I believe this picture was taken after Fred sold a lot of his cans as the last time I seen the collection there were a LOT more cans than this picture shows. Do not remember any empty spots on the shelves. Could be wrong but about 6 or 8 years ago I think Fred told me he had over 10,000 different cans.

The pics are from about a month ago that I pulled from another site. The site is a traditional hot rod site and the pics came from a private tour during a rod run. The names were not told to keep poeple from getting harassed I suppose.

Yeah, Fred has sold a couple thousand cans from the collection. Alot went to a colletor in Michigan; a few have made it to the State of Wasington... It's still an impressive collection. If you'd come out to our gas bash you could see it in person!!

Al - yeah, obsession is right!
Jodi and I saw Fred's collection a few years back. It was D@mn impressive.
Everything was in alphabetical order. So if Fred got a new 'Beeline' can, he had approximately 9,000 cans to move down one spot! That's a days project right there.
Later . . .
Jim

WOW, I have never seen that many oil cans in one place. How many oils changes did it take to make a collection like that? Yes, very impressive. Mike
