Hello:

I have been trying to research a 6' acrylic Texaco sign that I've come across. It is domed and one sided, perhaps to be mounted on a building and lit from behind. The base is fitted with a metal ring and each of the acrylic letters and logos are individually applied to the white acrylic base.

I have a photo available, but don't know how to attach to this post.

Any information you can provide, including value if available, would be greatly appreciated.

Julie

Welcome to old gas Julie, what you have is a translucent sign...........it's what it sounds like to me! Price well............i would just give a generous # and say $50.bucks "if" it is the sign i am thinking it is,that frame around those are aluminum! i have sold some for 100. and as low as 25.bucks,the aluminum weight is worth more than 25.dollars if it is a six footer! The plastic signs are not as collectible "UNFORTUNATELY" i will be glad to post a pic if you want to e-mail it to me!

...post a photo...if what you're referring to is what I think it is, it's not a common plastic sign...

Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...

I agree with Gulfiend, it sound like it is the Lexan that looks exactly like the round 6' porcelain sign. These are not common at all. Brady
