Hi All,

Just wondered if anyone out there has ever had the following Chrome Plated:

1) Nozzle Receiver

2) Crank Handle Recess (Dish)

Also does anyone have pictures of the restored pump on the crank handle side, Mr Hittle as done everything for me so far, just wanted to give him a rest. By the way he's a solid genuine person just as i am sure the rest of you are. Tried to add pics, file size to large. Done It!!! Thank You....For The Link.

Tony, I have had these parts chrome plated in the past. Very expensive and my plater had a hard time getting the chrome to adhere in the curved areas. When I got the parts back, they were not that pretty....You'll need to remove the I.D. tag, either way. I'm pretty sure that you have a new one in this shippment? Once your finish is applied, simple screw the tag on with sheetmetal screws. Paul www.severngaspumps.com

Thanks Paul, i am going to take them over tomorrow and see what he thinks, i would imagine int being a difficult task to chrome them, however i like shiney things. I will keep you updated on his opinion, thanks again Paul.

Well here is the update, i called over to the chrome platers today and he told me, forget it. The chrome will be just not up to it, just like Mr Hittle said, so he's doing a polishing job instead. So that's it, polish and NO Chrome..
