Does anyone have a pic of a complete frontier key hole pole sign standing......Gasoline sign site does show 1......
Cities service, Vickers, Gas and Auto neons, next exit/ ahead signs and now I'm getting into globes....

Which key hole sign is wort more? The red or white. I think the red looks better.

Are the white ones less common? It just seems there's more red ones to be seen.

Red is way more valuable... White ones were only used for a short time and are uncommon. If I owned I white one the only way I would display it is if it was punched for neon and lit up!

Yep...the red ones bring more money but the white ones are much rarer. Since there has been so much Frontier talk here lately I thought I would post a link to the COTM I hosted in 2006. I agree- the red is the nicer & earlier of the 2 Actually all the information I have shows the white one is the earlier of the two keyhole signs. Then the red keyhole. Then the round silhouette was introduced in 1955.

Here is the sign I bought DB was talking about at Iowa Gas. Owned it about 8 hours
