STOPPED AT A FRIENDS PLACE IN NORTH CAROLINA LAST WEEK ON A PICKING TRIP AND NOTICED HE HAD TWO 4' CITIES SERVICE CLOVERS BLACK ON WHITE, HAD A SMALL TRIANGLE OVER THE WORD CITIES. I KNOW SOMEBODY CAN TELL ME ABOUT THESE VERSUS THE MORE COMMON GREEN AND WHITE SIGNS. THANKS, JOE DIRT.

I was wondering that I just picked up a 6' ds in black in white......now I need pole...help


Cities service, Vickers, Gas and Auto neons, next exit/ ahead signs and now I'm getting into globes....

Cities Service used a black and white image until the late 1940s and the logo in that era included a small clover and triangle over the top of the Cities/Service lettering. These were replaced beginning in 1947 with the green logo with no additional clover triangle image. Other modifications were made in 1955 and 1957.
