Well said Chris. It is very interesting and surprising to read all the differing opinions.

To watch or not to watch... that is the question! Giving one permission to watch or not? Cool! Reading this forum is fun and entertaining... I certainly am not looking forward to a commercial break.

I'm starting to find more entertainment value from this thread than from any show on TV.

Reading a few pages back and have seen other comments about things getting stolen from your yard, where do you live? Sounds to me like it's time to move. I leave the house open and leave the keys in my car all the time and never had trouble.I agree this is a very intertaining web site.

Well just watched another show and I thought he did some good work and I like the fact he has his son involved. MY son is 23 and a couple of years ago he had some friends over and I gave them a coke out of my coke machine and they asked how do you open this? So I still think its good for the hobby to expose younger people to the past.

I watched the show and thought it was pretty good. I've been to his shop about 10 years ago and the thing I remember the most is he had a ton of inventory! The thing I like about it is it will hopefully put some life back into the collectors hobby as people watch it

Was that ECO Meter suppose to have embossed white writing? Jack I'm sure you can answer this one. It looked nice, just did not seem like the original style. Rick does nice work, but if you watch, a lot of the items are not put back to original way- such as the popcorn machine he did on that episode. The writing and saying on the machine was different. I believe if your going to restore it make it look as close to original as possible. I restored my ECO 97 and thanks to Jack for his wonderful manual and knowledge of the ECO product. I kept most of the original chrome so it looks original. Just my 2 cents. Thanks Jack for being such an asset and wealth of knowledge to this hobby. My next meter I am looking for is a 33 in original working condition. That Eco 15 was nice just not my style.
The most valuable commodity I know of is information-Wall Street

A friend pointed this out to me & now its bugging me. I seriously didn't know there was show called rusty nuts or I would've chosen a different username. Sorry to keep digging up bones.

I believe the reason that the producers of Rick's show didn't use the original name of Rustynuts was that there was a large business (possibly in Vegas) that used that name.
