A farm nearby has a visible Wayne 628? But it has a swich near the top to turn on the motor, no handle, thus "electric visible". were they made that way, or retrofited later for what ever reason? Are they more or less valuable? He's pretty partial to the pump, he turned down $500, It's mint with good glass, Was that a fair offer? Frank.

If you look on page 315 of my gas pump identification book you will see a color picture of the Wayne 628. It was introduced in 1928, is electric operated, wet hose, ten-gallon visible. According to the estimated value you need to increase your offer. If you don't have a copy, you can get one by going to my web-site: www.crspub.com
