This station was originally a Sinclair station now being used as visitors center

Because of all of the discusion about Frontier this month I thought I would run over to the plant and take some pictures. When I took the picture of the keepout sign the guard came out and tried to chase me off. I was on company property. Told him I was a old employee and he relaxed.

This is the new office building they built when gas was $4.00 per gallon. It cost 7 million dollars. Since then they have laid off 25 employees. The common workers call it the Taj Mahal.


This is looking across the street at the refinery with the coker in the background. The sign is about 10 ft. in diameter.

Sorry it looks like I got the descriptions off one. The bottom picture is one of the main gates where the guard come out and chased me off. Now two more pictures.

This sign is at the sit e of the old office building and a walk in gate for workers.


I took this picture because this is the same spot that the picture was taken in 1956 that is shown in Rarin-to-Go's COTM that the link was posted a few days ago. The kone with the 56 Ford and cowboy riding the horse.
