Customer got me started on oil cans and signs last year. Have collected license plates since I was 13. About a month ago I bought my first 2 pumps. A Gasboy and a Bennett farm pump. Hoping to trade up down the rd I bought a Wayne 70-2-f clock face and restored it a little bit to my liking. Still waiting for a "real" pump in my price range. Well today friends I found it!! A 1936-40 Tokheim 36 B in Fire Chief garb. Will post some other pics later but heres 1 of the new addition.

36B? Nice start! Make sure ya' got that top bolted down good. I happen to know that, somehow, they seem to wind up in a collection on the west coast.

Welcome to Oldgas, the best darn petro site on the web! It wont be long before ya' have a BUNCH of stuff to keep that pump company. Maybe I shoulda said, welcome to the madness.

What part of Upstate are you from?

The ad glass is missing from the top and i only have 1 of the Toheim plates that goes above the glass and no hose or handle and the crank handle is broke, 1 piece of glass is broke .. thats the bad. The good is both of the pump plates are original 3-40 and they have the white warning plates and theres no thru rust. What should I have paid for this ...

I think Thunder is just about right on the value considering it has original porcelain signs on it. They do not look to be in Mint condition but they are original and a little patina always looks good! Good job on posting the pictures took me a long time to figure it out...

Now don't go in and tell her that we said 1000.00 plus to try and cover your spending in the future! There is no profit for an addict and there WILL be more as you are hooked now and could not quit if you tried...
