I recently picked up a Wayne 60 and have a question. It is missing the two Wayne name plates that go at the bottom of the window frame. There is a small indented area about 5" long by 1" tall behind where the name plates would be mounted. Which plates are correct for this pump the rectangular or the stepped version? The pump has hinged doors. I am also looking for one door and an ID tag. I know repros are available and will go that way if I can't find original parts. Thanks for any help. Bill.

Good Morning Bill, Gas pump heaven or most of the repo parts dealers have these plates, but to answer your question I have a problem my Wayne 60 had both, one on each side.??? they may have something to do with when they came off the assembly line, from 1935-1946 . so you have to remember there was a war in thoughs years.

Bill, If your pump has hinged doors it's a wide frame Wayne 60. All wide bodys that I have owned and have seen in company literature had the square emblem, and the narrow frame Wayne 60's had the stepped emblem...Mike ------------------ maslama@earthlink.net

Thanks for all the replys. It is a wide bodied pump and I have located a nice pair of rectangular name plates that will be going on it. Bill.

Hey guys, Does anybody have a WAYNE nameplate stepped or rectangular fastened to the bezel frame with rivets 6 3/4 inches center to center? All the repos that I've seen have holes 6 inches apart NOT 6 3/4. Just curious why the holes in both of my frames are 6 3/4 inches apart. There is no nameplate and am wondering what the original was like. This is the Wayne 60 that says MODEL 60 instead of CUT 60 on the serial number tag. My other Wayne 60 has mounting holes 6 inches apart, has a rectangular plate, is also a wide body, has doors and hips. Thanks for your help, Rod ------------------------------------------- Wishing I was somewhere cooler. It hit a 100 degrees here in this part of Nebraska today.

Rod, I could stop and take the 60 off your hands, on my way to Iowa ! SO, you won't have to look for the Wayne plates. Put it out by the curb, I'll be thru there about 3am on Monday the 4th.
Elvis, needs a 60. Dick

I have a wide body Wayne 60 with the Atlantic porcelain White Flash doors. All original including ad glass. There is no place for a Wayne tag at bottom of face frames, no holes, no indentation. It looks like it never came with one.
