I am in the market for a Tokiem 36 b pump. I was wondering what the value of an un-restored pump is. I have the option to buy one but it needs all four sides and chrome moldings, glass , ect. Basically it's a good shell. What would be a fair price to pay? What are these worth in today's market conditions restored? Getting it painted is easy for me. I am worried about parts prices and if it is worth the investment. Thanks for your help:)

Read the thread that Dick Bennett posted and you should have a pretty good idea!

If you are looking to purchase a gas pump you should be equipped with some in hand information, meaning my Gas Pump Identification book. This book identifies over 1900 gas pumps made since 1885. We put a value of every pump in unrestored condition with the pumps. Having a copy of this book will actually save you money. What do I get out this, a royality of $2.00 for every book sold.

The book is available on my website:
