Hey Paul

Carboard cans are the most common and are from late 60's and 70's. Some still have value if they are graphic (race cars, animals, planes. Your can looks to be in pretty nice I would value it at $10-15 to the right person. I'm no expert im just givng my opinion.

If you are looking to collect cans metal cans with graphics command the most money. They range anywhere from $50-1500.00 a can. You can occasionally snag one for cheaper. Hope this helps and have a great day.

Thanks for the great info on the oil can guys. More than likely I will end up selling it because I am not really into collecting cans. Is it better to drain the oil out or leave it unopened... or should I leave that up to the person who buys it?

Don't touch it...Leave that up to the new owner.
