confused Hi Tom. I just went out to the garage and looked at 3 narrow bodies, 4 wide bodies and 1 866, all original unrestored. my vote would be NO COLOR, natural steel. I support this by thinking the Wayne Co. would not want paint coming off after time and maybe plugging up a carburetor. None of the pumps had any trace of being painted, only slight discoloration from years of gas staining. Hope this helps you. Ed in Tucson.
