My wife brought this home from work today for me - One of the older gentleman brought it in for her knowing I collect these types of things.
Does anyone have an idea what it was used for? I was thinking it may have been used for filling kerosene lamps. It is about 5 1/2" wide and the same high.
Any guesses?

Neither one of ya are old enough to know what a Kerosene Lamp is! Let alone what they were used for.
I'm sure Jack Sim looked like the Fisk Tire boy as a kid on his way to the outhouse @ night.

Spout is too Small, Thunder. You'd get high from sucking, before ya had to PEE.
It's slightly more than a qt @ 5 1/2 x 5 1/2, a qt can is 4 x 5 3/8 + edges.

Hell, I once dated the girl in the Kelly-Springfield ads, but we had to cut it off, I was much too older than her. Jack
