I asume there are folks that build an old Service Station and want a cases of the same brand oil cans. Then there is the guy that wants one each of every can. How about by weights and by type of contents: straight oil, multi-weight or ATF?

Just like to have your comments and see representative pics of your displays.

I display my can collection in at least four ways. When I use a can rack for quarts,I have ones for Texaco and Pennzoil,I do what 67 Chevy did;all one brand.I also display cans of various sizes and products in coordinated brand displays.By that I mean globes, pump plates,ad glass, signs, maps and so on all displayed togather for several different brands.

Then, for single quarts,I have a mixed brand display and for small picture cans I have them in a glass display case. There a couple more displays but those four will get most of them.

Pics of some of my displays have been posted on here.Good luck and show us what you decide on.

Just curious, does anyone ever look at any of your can collections and shake their heads and ask why? Just curious! When I had a bunch of pumps people would look at the pumps and ask why I collected gas tanks. They just didnt get it. By the way neat looking collections

I am not much of a can collector. Here are a few I have as accents to go with my pumps.

I think that there are as many different ways to display one's cans, as there are the different members who collect cans.

I have a small garage and really don't collect one certain company. So I seem to have cans most everywhere. My cans don't measure up to a lot of the members, but they are mine. So they are very special. LOL
