hi have a penn. long distance pump, by national store specialty Co. it's hand crank, red in color, there is no year on it, i have pictures i can email. the number 1800 is stamped in to cast iron at the top of pump it stands about 48 inches high. has a lever so you could set it to 1/4 gallon 1/2 gallon or 1 gallon , i was told it was for kerosene. and it would sit outside on porch and barrel would go under porch? any and all info is needed. thaks jess

Looks like a National Stores model B. 1914 or newer.

Probably used for gasoline due to red color, could have been on front porch of store, or in a private garage, or curbside. "Long distance" indicates the tank was not directly under the pump, but elsewhere. Sure is in good shape - is it restored?

I have had this SALESMANS SAMPLE for 5-6 years, without knowing the manufacture.

Not the same Model, BUT the castings are the same. There are only 3 rods around the cylinder.

I would appreciate a straight on picture of the BASE, so that I can complete mine.
