I bought an oil & gas estate and this sign was included. I would like to know if it is real.
Mohawk sign is 11-3/4" diameter.
Thanks,
Wayne

I wish this site had a DATABASE of all REPRO and FANTASY stuff (signs, globes, etc) out there. This way, a collector would get answers with a simple SEARCH.
In this case, both the INDIAN lense & the Mohawk porcelain sign would be entered into the DATABASE with the detail explanation.
I know it is easier said than done. I am willing to contribute in this effort!

IMO, way too much to ask for.

This is a site that Jim, on his own for the most part, own's and maintains. It is a free site, we don't pay membership fees nor dues.

It exists (IMO) so people who collect "Gas and Oil" can interact.

It is because of Jim's hard work and some volunteers, that the site exists at all.

To do what you ask for, would take a few people some time(weeks, months?) to break the system down and catalog all the results.

Then those results would need to be broken down into categories where people could find the results quickly. Once that was finally done, it would take a full-time staff just to maintain, research and catalog all findings. Because once there is a list, some people would want it "fine tuned" to make it easier to use such a list.

Oh wait, that is where we are now. Jim gave us a forum where people could report unmarked repops and fantasy items, also a place where we could discus these items. Because there are so many "fakes" out there, the forum has become a string of reports. And it takes some effort to do easy research.
