Bob, you are correct, to do what I am asking is a serious effort. DATABASE work is never easy and requires experts to create & test it thoroughly!

I think the problem with a listing of repops,other than those already available,is that it is already out of date before it is even assembled.More un-dated repops are coming out ALL the time and I am quite sure we haven't seen the last of it!!
That's why I have a lot more faith in this forum than any publication that I have.Someone on here many times has a real item to compare to.When I questioned the measurements on a MC/AX Mobilgas Special pump plate it was cleared up almost immediately.I now have both Mobilgas and Mobilgas Special MC/AX plates.Thanks guys.

old iron had a good comment which I never thought of: asking pros that have the REAL thing! Either way, it is good to see a THREAD that raises a new flag for a REPRO or FANTASY item.

Some collectors DO NOT want to post a good picture of Rare sign[s] & I can't blame them. Just as soon as it is posted, someone will start making a few & selling as Original.

I agree with you DB.If you remember,you are the one who told me not to post some really good stuff I've got unless I want it popped.None of it has been posted.
I think the way to go is for you guys with a question to post the pics.Then the guys with the real stuff can tell you whats wrong without posting a pic of the real stuff.JMO.
