Dick, I think they are now referred to as an asian man's hat lol.
Those are some cool station lighters.

If I were to give $350 for one with out a bonnet in real good shape is that a fair price? From the pictures in Jack Simms book I think it may be a wayne 587.

Thanks,
Nick

That's not bad. A correct painted bonnet might run $100 & a Nice porcelain might cost closer to $200 when you find one.
In my 1st pic, the far left is a 587 [I marked it 100 as it was used on those pumps].
& in 1st pic the 2 on right are both 585's, but left one is 1938 & other is 1947.

Dick:

Any idea of what this is supposed to fit?

Here is a shot of the unit next to the top off of one of my American 900 pumps.
You can see that the detail on the edges of the base unit perfectly match the edges of the pump top.

But that doesn't mean that it was designed for this pump.

I've always wondered what it was supposed to go on.

Later . . .

Jim

Is the base of that light flat? If it is maybe it is for a Federal. They look like an American but the top is flat and not curved.

Matt:

I really don't remember.

I'll try to get out to my Display Room tomorrow and see.
The Stationlighter is leaning up against the wall behind one of the 900's so it should be an easy check.

Later . . .

Jim
