Speaking of nozzels, does anyone know what the correct one is for a tokheim 850?

Ryan, Looks like an early nozzel for a hand crank farm pump or curb side. I have one in my office if you need to eyeball it. Brass.
Just make up a question.

Ryan,
That nozzle looks tobe from a gasboy type rotary hand pump [like they use on back of pickups]. Very few early nozzles had the extra protrusion. Also that looks to be 5/8 or 3/4 hose fitting, most early ones have a 1" or 1 1/4" fitting.

Boys, boys, boys,

I dont need the nozzle, I just posted the picture for one of our members named Tracey who didnt know how to do it. I think he said that it was for an erie oil pump? Hopefully he will post in the next few days his question.

I also have a few nozzles laying around that look very similar. Thanks for the replies on it.

Aqua man,

I dont know what nozzle you need, butI wish that had a tok 850 laying around that needed one too!!!!

Hey Bob,

Its time to go pick out the paint colors this week. I will be out on a long service call on Tuesday, call me on the trucks cell that morning.

I think a Williams Gas-O-Gun Nozzle goes on an 850.

I'll take pictures of the ones I have extra Ryan. but Dick is right there were a lot of different ones made/ he needs to tell the hose size. some guys can't find the large hoses for the older pumps so they add a reducer for the hose , then want the original banana ones, but the threads are to big for the hose. the one you are showing is a later one . But I will check .

AquaE/cans&stuff,
Almost any nozzle with a hook will work on the 850. But the brouchers that I have, don't show a Gas-O-Gun. I have tried to hange a Gas-0-Gun on my 850's [Didn't fit correctly into the bonnet].

What did you use Dick? What would have come from the factory? Anyone have some pics of what they are using on their 850's.

If you look to Tokheim literature to find out which nozzle is correct for the 850 it will all depend on which piece of literature you have access to.
1930 sales lit says: "The nozzle is operated by a self-closing handle and is equipped with a flexible tube for inserting in the tank opening."
1931 sales lit says: "The nozzle is operated by a double-acting, self-closing control lever and is equipped with a solid brass tube for inserting in the tank opening."
1933 Parts/Repair manual shows two nozzles (neither with a flex end). Top one is for pumps with serial numbers 500,000 to 505,103 and the bottom one is for pumps with serial numbers 505,104-508,466. http://64.226.138.86/MoZeta/TokNoz1933.htm
1934 Parts/Repair manual shows one nozzle with choice of either a flex or a solid end.
http://64.226.138.86/TokheimNozzle1.htm
1935 Parts/Repair manual shows one nozzle with solid end.
1947 Parts/Repair manual shows one nozzle with a choice of either a flex or a solid end.
My assumption is that the nozzle would also have the "Tokheim" logo embossed on it as they were either making their own nozzles or having them made.

Sorry Ryan, I don't have one that new. I called the guy that took my place on the equipment and he says you can still buy them at most fuel supply houses. the little embossed area about an 1 1/2 " back is to lock it in a tube on the other side from the fuel outlet. good luck.
There you go Jeff. I just took pictures of mine, but don't need to post them now. thanks Jack.

That looks like an E.M.S.-K3-1296-A !!

I dont think those areally as old as your pump, because they are die-cast and have the smaller thread size. Most of the early ones are bronze. My bronze one on my 12 Bowser is bronze with little wings or tabs out the side.........................dodogas
