Well, here is the end result of a weekend's worth of work. It's a M&S 70, made of MDF with a fiberglass top. I have an original top that I made a mold of, then molded the top itself. I used 3/4" MDF for the side columns and 1/2" for the doors. The round-over on the columns is 3/4" quarter round poplar from a molding shop. The base is made of a combination of whatever was laying around the shop. I got all the repop parts from the good people at GPH, and spent the weekend putting it all together. The worst part was molding the top. It was not hard, but it sure took a long time.

You do a great job on your pumps!

Not sure about anyone else but I get a little dizzy looking at a sideways photo. So I took it upon myself to move the photo.

If I'm going to do one, might as well do both.

Well, that is the holding area outside the shop. The buzzbox is there because I don't want wood dust to get in it. The lawn chair is going to be painted up like a shell sign, and the cradle is for the niece for x-mas.

Mike: don't sweat it man, I got picked on last week because my work area was too neat, go figure. Just work the way you like and go with it brother.

Thanks for all the good words guys. This pump has been cut-down 16 inches to accommodate 8' ceilings but other than that it is exact. I hope to have it in primer and paint by next weekend.
