I am starting my first pump resto and would like paint codes for Poly Gas colors. We are painting with base coat clear coat paint. I would like to get as close to the correct colors as possible.
Thanks,
Wayne

Buy your decals & globe 1st, then have the paint mixed to match. TOO H*** with original paint codes, most collectors don't have original decals or globe.

If you run a search in past post you should find some info on the polly colors.I remember someone saying the interstate battery was close.I see many different greens used,as polly is a popular brand to chose.Dick is right,if it works with your decal,it will look good on the pump.V-man

I agree with Dick in the post above this. But if you still want more info, click on "Search" on the upper right on this page. Search for "polly color" in the General Discussion forum. Lots of info there.

There are many different opinions on the color schemes of Polly gas pumps. Probably more than any other brand, Polly "correct" is in the eye of the beholder. Here is a link to some Polly pump photos:

Upgrading and improving the Gas Pump Image Album is on my To Do list.

There was an unrestored Polly pump picture posted some time in the past. You may be able to find it.

Looking for nearly anything related to Signal Oil

I sold That G&B 97 pump to a guy in 1,000 Oaks [Ca.], he sold it to a guy in So. Oregon, he sold it to Jason [PollyGas]@ Stokes Gas Bash. That pump has mileage !
