Has anyone ever seen a 54 gallon Ford anti-freeze barrel before??? I'd be interested in buying one, if anyone knows where one might be... I didn't even know they made that size until I bought a promo brochure today with this pic on it. I'd also be interested in any other sizes/styles of Ford anti-freeze cans if someone has some for sale. Please feel free to PM me or send pics and prices directly to "RPreis1977@yahoo.com"
Thanks all, Robert

I'd say this style is from between the late 30's thru the 40's. I think 3 different styles of this logo were used and believe this to be the earliest. In the mid 50's they switched over to the FoMoCo logo, so I know when it's not from...

GOOD LUCK!...THAT'S DEF A NEEDLE IN A HAY STACK.
UNTIL YOU FIND THAT NEEDLE...ER, I MEAN DRUM, WHY DON'T YOU JUST TAKE A NICE 55 GALLON (OR SMALLER) DRUM, PAINT IT THE CORRECT COLORS AND HAVE A DECAL MADE TO PLACE ON THE YELLOW MIDDLE BAND.

Yeah, I knew it would be a one in a million shot, but I figured with the varied ages and locations of collectors on the board, if ANYONE had EVER seen one, they would chime in. Being only 33 right now, I guess you could say time is on my side.
I thought of having one made up Doc, but I'm not really in any hurry for it. Something as rare as that, I'd rather have a re-pop than nothing at all. That's the same conclusion I came to on the re-pop Ford Benzol sign I bought. I'd rather deal with having a re-pop than spend $5,000 on an original. Guess if my search dosen't pan out, It'll just be one more thing on the to-do list....

STILL IF YOU MAKE "ONE" FOR YOURSELF, IT'S ABOUT HAVING ONE THAT YOU DID FOR YOURSELF. BETTER THAN HAVING A PLAIN DRUM SITTING AROUND DOING NOTHING BUT LOOKING UGLY! LOL!
BUT TO EACH HIS/HER OWN.
