41Again:

Correct-o-mundo!

Clockface versions have the glass in front of (outside) the porcelain faceplates. Computer/VR versions have the glass mounted between the VR unit and the procelain faceplates.

As I mentioned previously, I'll post shots of the VR version faceplate/glass/stamped holder mounting arrangement tomorrow.

Later . . .

Jim

Yes Dick, all of the above. I am actually missing the little piece of sheet metal in the center section above the nozzle. Got an extra that you can send with the cord, paint, and anything else. LOL

Thanks, Phil

Thanks, Phil

Sorry for the delay - I forgot my 'Travel Drive' yesterday so I didn't have the photos.

Anyway, here ya go. This is a shot of the faceplate installed on the pump.

Now here is a shot of the assembly off of the pump. If you look closely, you can see the glass sitting on the backing plate/retainer. Notice the 'decimal point' on the backing plate in the 'price' area.

You have to hold all three pieces together while you start the faceplate retaining screws. Otherwise, the glass falls out and then you have a mess. LOL

Later . . .

Iam looking at an Erie 71 or 80 not 100% for sure which one. The guy that has it says its a clockface but the pump is rough and missing the base. Whats a fair price and can I get a base and parts for it? It has a globe holder instead of the glass top on it.

DUH ! I thought the cord in the picture was coming out by the nozzle receiver ! Sometimes you got to wonder how you get by day to day... Brady
