I posted this station back it June that I spotted in San Fransico. tonite I was sorting old gas station photos and found a old photo of the station. Uploaded with ImageShack.us NOT ONLY IS IT A 76 GAS STATION, BUT ALSO A PONTIAC AUTHORIZED SERVICE STATION! VERY COOL BUILDING THAT IS UNIQUELY DOUBLED BRANDED WITH SIGNS. LOVE THE FLYING PONTIAC LETTERS SIGN.

As you can imagine, NFS. Nothing. He has a couple pole signs in the yards as well, R.R Crossing, and signs inside the buildings as well.

I believe that the person who owns the barns and all those signs is out of Macquoketa,Ia. They are running a business, like the American Pickers. They run ads all the time wanting to buy old gas pumps, signs, etc. They have a website, if I could find it, that has the same barn on their home page. Everything is priced retail.

I can assure these are not the same people. The website may have used this picture, but definetly not the same people. This place is located just north of Washington, Iowa, about 15 minutes from Keota/Wellman area. As I stated, NFS.

Chad, They must have used the same pic then. Every one in a while I see a Craiglist ad for a gas pump or sign and they have a link to their website that shows that same barn and signs. Perhaps they just used that same pic.

COULD BE AN OLD CROWN STATION IN PLAINVIEW, NY. PIC TAKEN ABOUT 5 YEARS AGO. THE ONLY THINGS MISSING ON THE BUILDING ARE THE SIGN EXTENSIONS ABOVE THE ROOFLINE IN THE RIGHT AND LEFT CORNERS. I BELIEVE CROWN WAS SOLD ON LONG ISLAND BACK IN THE LATE 60'S.
