130470682054 Why would it be marked "employee" soap? Maybe they had "customer" soap too? NOT

Dennis, I explained why soap was marked "Employee". Or atleast why Flying A marked some of their soap "Employee".
I of course can't speak for any Oil Company, but the 2 gas stations/Oil Companies I worked for (Flying A and Chevron) had certain items marked for "Employee" use. (again in the mid 60's)

Fonts are completely wrong for the age of this. The plastic wrap that it is in wouldn't have been done in the 30's. I find it hard to beleive that texaco would put that much effort in design into an employee bar of soap. Someone is pulling a fast one.

I believe the winner of this auction is a member of oldgas. I would be curious to hear his thoughts once it arrives at his door and he sees it in person.

Seller says Cellophane. But looks like Plastic. Cellophane would be correct, but that old would be cracking by now.
Some one may have wrapped it in Plastic wrap to protect it, and it could have lifted the ink.
If you Google this item you will find they have been selling at auctions for quite a few years, all across the country. Not a real common item, it takes some digging. Most do not have the plastic wrap. Just a wax type paper.
One of those items I would surely want to hold in my hand before buying.
