Hello All,
I was having a fun time watching these lenses as the auction climbed up and up!! Ebay auction # 330511950098.
Someone must have offered a pretty penny to have them stop the auction. I don't think the seller knew what he had as soon as I saw the listing, as I knew they were special with the indian graphic. I'm sure the seller probably figured out pretty quick they were something with all the inquiries he was getting!
This was one I wish I could have watched to the "real" end. What do you think they would have ended up at? Last I saw they were around $5600.

They were at 7600.00 before they ended them. stupid!!!

I was the $7600 bid and I called him and he said he sold the 1/2 gallon Palacine can and set of lens for $9,000
I had a bid of over $10,000 just on the set of lens.
He said he bought them out of a storage shed from a elderly lady going into a nursing home.
I figured I would not be high enough but really wanted them.

That's too bad Maurice, for you and him. Like I said, I wish the auction would have went to the end. I guess I don't understand people sometimes. I hope you told him what your high bid was and that they very well could have went up to those figures for just the lenses. It wasn't like he was a "newbie" seller that took the first high dollar offer that was sent his way. He should have stuck it out. Sorry you didn't get them.
