I see the frame is still there but the diner sign is gone off the 2nd sign. I always wondered if they were still in that same small town but never went back to see. Is this a recent picture? I did some trading for my first globe! I know most of you may not understand, as you collect pristine glass, but when he showed me this globe a few weeks back, I had to have it, its perfect and its local! And here are some of the cans I picked up from Maurice as well, and yes, that's pretty much my whole collection of cans, but hey, better than last week, and I love them, maybe I can convince my wife to let me display them inside?? Talked to the owner today and he said it was a old Hy-Red gas station. After that it was Crystal Flash station. It was built in 1925 and closed 1949. I did ask to see if he had any pictures of it from back in the day but he did not!!! Will be doing more checking on that. It is now on the Indiana national register for historic places.
