OP keithia Veteran Member Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 3,004 Likes: 27 USA	I have a hose outlet bezel that is plated but most of it has worn off. I want to paint this piece rather than having it replated. However, I am having a hard time removing the remaining plating. How do you guys remove the old plating or can you just paint over it? Keith Drive with Care and Buy Sinclair!! drdent5060 Active Member D Joined: Nov 2001 Posts: 95 decatur Il	I would think that you could remove the old plating with 80 grit sandpaper,If most of it has wore off then you are almost done.If you have a dye grinder with a wire brush attachment then it would be even quicker. good luck Mike
