I spotted a 72" Gulf dealer sign the other day, I am curious what a decent price would be. Unfortunatly I do not have a picture of the actual sign, but here is an example of the sign...

The sign I am looking at it in much better shape, I will see if I can go get some pictures.
I would say its about in this condition,

THE SIGN ABOVE "IF" COMPARABLE,& THIS IS JUST MY OPINION, I WOULD OFFER $100.AND NOT PAY A RED CENT MORE! STRICTLY A BARN HANGER,IF ITS A NICER SIGN LIKE THIS ONE WITH A FAIRLY DECENT FIELD! I WOULD GO $450. BUT AGAIN THATS JUST ME,THERE ARE FOLKS WHO WOULD DEFINITELY PAY MORE FOR THAT PIN STRIP SHADE DEALER SIGN THATS IN GOOD SHAPE!"IMO" GOOD LUCK !~

Up to $200 is a fair price for the barn hanger.

Diesel, it is almost exactly like the one you attached. Although the one I am looking at is probably in better shape. Is that one of yours?

So thats considered a Pin Stripe sign? I think the guy is asking $600, seemed high, but always worth talking down.

I bought a Twin 850 20yrs ago, but that has nothing to do w/ the sign he's asking about. It don't matter what you paid 10+ yrs ago, he's asking what the going price is TODAY.

$200 in that condition is plenty and it's probably 66 inches in diameter. Never saw a 72 inch one of that type.

The way I read the request is 1st pic is just a reference & ebay is for condition reference. NEITHER one is the Actual sign that he is wanting to buy.
One on ebay sold for $750

I think you guys misunderstood. NEITHER of those signs are the one I am looking at, first one is an example of the style of sign, second one shows the condition it is in.
