I seen a movie that I haven't seen in years over the weekend. This movie contains a huge amount of Gas & Oil related footage through out the whole movie. The list of Celebrity Actors & Comedians are nearly uncountable. The date of the movie is 1963. The name of the movie is It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World. Don't leave the room for a second or you will miss footage in the background of old Gas Stations, Signs, Oil Bottles, Pumps, Ect. The Comedy was great to see again with all of the actors involved. If you get a chance to see this movie it is definatley worth your time. let me know what you think.

what about at the end of the movie when they are chasing the captain through town, there is a huge revolving 2-sided flying A sign in the upper left portion of your screen.

The way I looked at this movie was to record it and then played it in slow motion, this way you car really get a good view of all the stuff that was in that garage.

That's a great film! I watched KISS ME, STUPID (1964) last week and had forgotten about the all the great gas station scenes. Dean Martin wheels into a small Shell station and his day quickly goes to pot. The gas station scenes show four Neptune pumps with clamshell globes, lubesters, display racks, signs, a wrecker, etc. The film was written and directed by Billy Wilder (SOME LIKE IT HOT) and his tongue-in-cheek humor shows through. . .not to mention a few great service station shots!

I like that Power Wagon wrecker too!

Recently saw a three stooges where they worked in a gas station.

A Slight Case of Larceny with Mickey Rooney takes place in a gas station too.

RECENTLY, I TOOK OUT "THE RUSSIANS ARE COMING, THE RUSSIANS ARE COMING" FROM THE LIBRARY. FIRST TIME I SAW IT SINCE IT WAS IN THE MOVIES WHEN I WAS 6 (1966). IT TAKES PLACE (SUPPOSEDLY) ON GLOUCESTER ISLAND IN NEW ENGLAND.
THEIR SUB RUNS AGROUND ON A SANDBAR AND ALL HECK BREAKS LOOSE WHEN THEY COME ASHORE JUST AFTER LABOR DAY WEEKEND. THERE IS A SCENE WITH TWO OLD VISIBLES AT A GAS STATION. JONATHAN WINTERS STARS IN THIS ONE AS WELL.
