LOOKING FOR SOME INFO ON THIS SIGN, I JUST PICKED UP ITS DATED '49 AND MEASURES 82"x12" and has original wood frame, i know most newer are painted metal but this one in the pic looks like a porcelain chip above the S . Amistadts book lists it at 400-900

What can you guys tell me on info/value

Yeah, most i have seen are the 70's era that are 72" tall, this one really caught my eye

I didn't think so and i know its listed as tin in that guide book, that chip above the s just looked like porcelain

THAT A NEAT PIECE OF INFO ON THE AM, NEVER KNEW WHAT THAT STOOD FOR, I DIDN'T FIGURE IT FOR PORCELAIN JUST LOOKED LIKE IT IN THE PICTURE. CAN'T WAIT TO GET IT HOME!

I cant find any that have sold latey at Matthews ect, so i'm unsure of value

IF THAT WAS AT A GAS SHOW, IT WOULD BE TAGGED $450! SELLER WOULD PROBABLY SELL IT FOR $400 BECAUSE OF THE TOUCH UP ABOVE THE "S".

sometimes you could really shorten these posts if you tell us what you paid. If we said it was worth $100. would you have admitted tou paid $325.?
