...thankfully the seller let the auction run its course...
Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...

I had a metal band that had a horse shoe on it with the word MULE across it and the gas with a kick back in the early 80's. A globe like this sign turned up in South Dakota but I don’t know if they are the same Company! But I still know two collectors who have the mule gas so maybe they know as all 3 came out of Central to Western North Dakota.
