Sweney was from Peoria, IL and later got bought out and became a DX distributor. They had some cool graphic globes, like the Skyhawk (which had a bird picture).

I missed the call when the auction company called me to do phone bidding or we might of had ourselves a bidding war wink lol. Glad you got them if you ever decide to part with them let me know I would be interested in them for my collection because Peoria is only 30 min from me.
