Cool pump, the top is similiar to the Bowser Oil Fountain dispenser. Could you take a picture of the base. It might help. Richard

That is really neat. I'd love to see some better pictures of it.

Looking through the gas pump books, there's nothing like it. It does share a few similarities with the Bowser Oil Fountain, though. Are there any markings at all?

Bowser Oil Fountains & 97/99 pumps used the same bonnet, which was stamped steel [no seams]. This top was cut & formed w/ corners welded/soldered.

You might not ever find out who made it as lots of Blacksmith/iron works shops made just a few pumps for local use.
Like a mouse trap, everyone has/had a better idea.

Spend some time w/ local Historic Society, local newspaper, library to look thru photographs for this pump. Might even run an advertisement looking for old pictures of gas stations in the area.

Talk to all the old tymers in the area where you think pump was used & ask for any old pictures that might show it.
