Back in the day when ARCO stations were replacing Sinclair stations here in Ohio, a truck dropped off a new sign at dad's bulk plant. It was similar to the one pictured below except that instead of having the word ARCO on it with the red "Spark", it instead had the word Sinclair with the red spark. It was a plastic lens, about 2 foot by 6 foot. The guy that dropped it off came back a few days later and picked it back up. The sinclair logo with the red spark was used on other promotional items like patches, packages of ink pens and other gas station give aways. We are trying to find this sign or a picture of one.

Thanks

Here is a picture of a patch with the Sinclair word on it with the ARCO spark. This probably was ment as a transitional sign to be used during the switch over from Sinclair to ARCO.
