That's a nice survivor! Unfortunately, some stooge will probably get ahold of it, paint it up like a circus peanut cart, and make it indistinguishable from one restored from a basket case with half repro parts.
I sure hope someone leaves it as-is.

LOL! Brad must not have looked at the auction, right now it's at 9800.00 and reserve is not met. Obviously the gas pump economy is doing well.
Still looking for that Union 76 ball And I collect big old porcelain neon signs

I have seen that pump personally and know the owner. He is very meticulous and that pump is nice. Just as it sits its very very nice and lets you enjoy the pump itself and the workmanship that went into making it. They are very nice couple whom have put on lots of gas bashes and his wife always put out a very healthy and good tasting meal. $12,500 is my guess and I hope that he gets it.

It is a Grand Daddy pump, but I can think of a few others that are closer to the Holy Grail.

Cool pump but I think I'd have to restore it. I love patina, I think it's great but rust isn't patina. If the whole pump looked like the skins i wouldn't touch it...

Unfortunately, some stooge will probably get ahold of it, paint it up like a circus peanut cart ...I think you just coined a term for a gaudy over-restored pump...well done, sir!
Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...

I will just bet that within a couple weeks now with this going to this price, we will see more of the Romans coming on ebay. There is a couple here in the NW that have been on there before.
