I wrote the seller of this sign a couple days ago, advising him that the sign was reproduction and the wrong size to boot. He wrote me back saying he would pull the auction, also asking about an 11" Lubester sign that he had. I told him that too was a reproduction. He then said he was just going to hang them in his garage. So it does pay off to write the seller sometimes. I'm glad he did what he did, and hope he didn't spend much on these signs.

Moral of the story is. "There's still Good/Honest People out there." !!!

Is this fake because it looks porcelain and these were only made in tin- also I believe the original has more grommet holes?

The originals do have more grommet holes and are larger (18"x 30").

Just curious, what would a fake like that be worth? Is there any value? Its still a cool sign even if it is fake.
