Finished my National A38 pump this weekend and quite happy with the results. It was originally green but there was quite a bit of dents, dings and everything else 70+ years can create. Sandblasted all the internal parts and did all of the work including the paint that I had match the Ad Glass. Thanks for the wealth of information on this web site and the help of a few members with parts and knowledge.
First time restoring a pump but I have done quite a few cars and a lot of the same principles apply.

That is a very sweet looking pump. There is just something about fresh paint and chrome. Can't wait to see your next one.

Nope, a 1969 Chevy El Camino modified...pictures from the last car show (took 3rd with 20+ in my category, 56-69 modified Pickups & El Caminos). Did all of the work on it also and unlike the pump, every outer piece of sheet metal other then the roof was replaced.
