Roger that is a awesome looking sign. With you getting that sign just proves that this stuff is still out there waiting to be found.

Originals only for me. Always looking for Simpson oil, Super A, and MFA oil cans and globes.

Congrats Roger! Nothing like a new addition to the family...Also nothing like finding something you've been looking for (had no idea that sign existed lol)....See you at a show this year (send some NC shields this way).

As the others have said. Congrats on the two great looking additions to your "collection", Roger.

Right now they are both worth their "weight in gold". And as all collector's know, they will grow even more valuable in the years to come.

one thing about this "newbie" is that he is learning and listens to the advice of the "veteran" collectors. He will become a very successful "picker" in a short time...you da man "downtown" allen brown. He made some good buys at the Mississippi bottle and advertising show a few weeks ago and found stuff that I missed....after many months of PM's, phone calls, emails, it was a pleasure to finally meet you and your lovely wife in person....Another thing is he is always respectfull, listens to advice, and ask good questions. this young man is now buying smart and is building up a base of customers and collectors..and starting to build a nice little collection of his own of quality stuff...OBTW, Miss Susan says hello.

Not to hi-jack this thread, but since Allen did an outstanding job finding the sign for Roger and after reading Paddy's praise of Allen. It will be smart of me to send a list of what I collect to Allen so he can keep an eye out for me, as well.

Roger is top notch I have been dealing with him for a few years now. Everytime a deal does take place both the buyer and the seller are both very happy when its all said and done.

I did not intend for my post to sound as an attack, It was posted in fun because of all the attention Newbies have been getting lately. No disrespect intended Roger or Allen
