I can probably tell you, but I will need to know what the model number is.

Sorry I didn't jump on this immediately after you emailed me. I had to find to the M&S parts repair manual for the 80. Sorry, but after going through the 80 page manual I can find no drawings of the base.

Jim:

The M&S tall bases came in two versions - cast 'pot' metal or stamped. Both look the same from the outside, they're just different manufacturing applications.

That being said, I really don't think you could replicate one that would look correct. They have some rather rounded edges and corners that just would be too hard to duplicate out of flat stock. If you did manage to make one up, you'd have way more time in it than it is worth.

These show up at the Gas Bashes on a regular basis. Keep looking and you will eventually find one at a bash or on e-bay.

If you still think you want to try and fab one up, shoot me an e-mail by 2 tomorrow and I'll take some shots of mine over the weekend and get you some dimensions. My tall M&S is still assembled, but I can give you photos that will show the intricate curves on these bases for your reference.

Later . . .

Jim

I have 2 of these pumps in my barn. I will check the length and width of these and post later.

Thanks, Phil

The base on my pump is 24" wide by 19" deep. They of course have rounded corners and rolled edges. If you would like pictures I may be able to get some this weekend.

Thanks, Phil
