Can anyone out there in oldgas land tell me anything about this sign. I bought it at the Dry Creek Gas Bash in Susan Moore, Alabama about 5 years ago. It is embossed self framed , and embossed script. Color is cream/almond, red border and green/olive script. Size is 8 inch X 42 inch. I have always wondered about it....local to Bamy? Is it from somewhere else? Company? Age?...someone said once they thought it was Texaco, but don't think so. Thanks in advance for your help.

Very nice looking sign, Paddy.

I think I've seen that slogan before? For some reason CONOCO comes to mind.

It is CONOCO, from 1948. In "The CONOCO Collector's Bible" page 91 is an ad from "The Red Triangle Magazine" that uses the slogan.

I know it is not the best picture to see it but here is a picture of a Conoco station from the 1940 Kearney High Year Book (Nebraska). Over the Door you will see that sign. So it could even possibly be late 1930's vintage.
