Hey everyone. I am in the process of putting this pump back together and I have tried just about every way I can think of to put the window rubber on, apparently everyone of these is wrong. Can someone please shed some light on this step so I don't keep cursing this pump? Thanks

The window rubber on this pump is nothing more than U channel. It slips over the glass edge and the glass is laid onto the inside frame. It is held in place with metal clips screwed to the frame. Paul www.severngaspumps.com

I thought that's all it was but every parts catalog I I have been looking has this other style that has a quarter round with a slit and then a piece of u channel attached. So should I just use the same stuff that I have for my add glass?

This rubber U talk about is for the 900 series of pumps. Go with the U-channel as said above.
